Luther Spring Obituary

Luther H. "Bud" Spring, 68, of Sandusky, died at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

Bud was born in Sandusky on November 11, 1951 to Isaac and Viola (Stamm) Spring. His parents are deceased.

Mr. Spring joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17, serving in Viet Nam.

He was retired from the former Chrysler Plastic in Sandusky.

Bud really enjoyed going to casinos, listening to his Cleveland Indian games on the radio and fishing. But, his favorite activity was anything having to do with his grandchildren.

His beloved family included, three sons and their families; Darrin (Elise) Spring of Bellevue and their children, Grant Spring, Quinn Spring and Kane Spring; Ronald Spring of Holly, Michigan and his children, Samantha Spring (Josh Culpert); Alectra Spring and Ashton Spring and Gary Spring of Lake Orion, Michigan. Two great grandchildren, Elaina Culpert and Ivy Culpert along with his siblings, Delbert (Becky) Spring of Sandusky; Lois (Bill) Huff of Ashland; Bruce (Carol) Spring of Castalia and Ronald (Ellen) Spring of Sandusky also survive. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews are also surviving.

Mr. Spring was preceded in death by three sisters, Judith Spring; Marlene Windau (Robert); Darlene Bledsoe (Carlos, who survives), as well as two brothers, Larry Spring (Mary) and Duane Spring (Nancy).

A private time will be held at Auxter Funeral Home,1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. A public burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery, Veteran's Section, at a time when limitations due to the virus can be lifted.

Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice or to a food pantry or Salvation Army of  your choice.
