Marcia L. (Howard) Burel

Marcia L. Burel, 61, of Clyde, died at Stein Inpatient on Wednesday, September 20,2023.

Marcia was born in Fremont to Hilda (Powers) and Orville Howard on November 5, 1961. Her parents are deceased.

She was a graduate of Clyde High School/Vanguard. Following graduation, she joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

Mrs. Burel had been employed by Whirlpool and then as a truck driver for Penske.

She loved the beach, camping and being in her pool. Her family held a special place in her heart and her smile was her trademark.

On November 25, 2008, she married Billy C. Burel. He survives, as does her daughter, Evelyn "Evie" (Eric) Raby of Clyde and granddaughter, Caylin Earhart. Four nieces and nephews also survive.

Marcia was preceded by her sister, Deb Zola.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 14, 2023 at The Island House, Port Clinton, Ohio. A second celebration will be held on May 25, 2024 at the Clyde Shelter House at 1:00 pm
