Marcia A. (Meacham) Sberna

Marcia A. Sberna, 84, of Bellevue, died Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Willows at Bellevue.

She was born July 8, 1938 in Bellevue to William & Florence A. (Koon) Meacham.  Marcia graduated from York High School in 1956.  She cared for many patients over the years, working at the Bellevue Hospital, Dr. Knight's & Dr. Heymeyer's offices, and retired from Ball Medical Clinic as the nurse for Dr. Braun.  In her free time, Marcia enjoyed trips to Amish Country and traveling with Carl; lunch with her friends, reading, antiquing, and most of all - cleaning!  She was a steadfast supporter of her children and grandchildren.  

On August 11, 1956 she married Carl P. Sberna, and he survives in Bellevue.  Also surviving are their children: Steve (Sherry) Sberna of Delaware; Christy Malott (Bill Kent) of Bellevue; Jeff (Michelle) Sberna of Bellevue; Holly (Bryan) Spero of Bellevue; Andy (Lesley) Wadsworth of Fremont; grandchildren: Katie (Martijn) Terporten; Stephanie (David) Buckley; Amanda (Robert) Daniels; Beth Sberna-Neill (Chad Zbin); Carleigh Spero (Lane Moored); six great-grandchildren; her sister, Tonya (Joe) Frailey of Bellevue; and brother, Tom (Connie) Meacham of Bellevue.

In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brian Malott and her granddaughter, Bonnie Lirtzman.

Visitation will be 4:00pm-8:00pm Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  Her funeral service will be 10:30am Monday, June 19 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Bishop officiating.  Burial will follow in York Chapel Cemetery.  

Memorials may be given to Bellevue Fallen Soldiers Memorial Fund, PO Box 8005, Bellevue.
