Margaret "Peg" Mae (Huntzinger) Watt

Margaret Mae “Peg” Watt, 94, of Clyde, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Randall Residence of Fremont.

She was born on April 12, 1928 to the now deceased Margaret (Franks) and Stephen J. Huntzinger.

After attending Fremont Ross High School, she went on to graduate from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, Cleveland, as a Registered Nurse. She then earned a Bachelor of Allied Health degree from Heidelberg University, Tiffin.

Mrs. Watt retired from the Whirlpool Corp in 1990, having been an Industrial Nurse there.

Peg was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde for many years.

On July 31, 1954, she married James Watt. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2018.

She is survived by their children, Margaret “Mimi” (Eric) Fintel, David Watt; Janet Watt; and Stan (Becky) Watt. Along with grandchildren James (Tahoe) Fintel; Stephanie Fintel; Bradley Watt; and Evan Watt; and three great grandchildren. Her three sisters: Patricia Bristley;  Sylvia (Robert) Markley; and Stephanie (Stephen) Purchase, also survive.

Private services will be held.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to Promedica Hospice.
