Margielene (Ramey) Matney

Margielene "Margie" Matney,  89, of Clyde, died at the Bethesda Care Center on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

Mrs. Matney was born in Mouth Card, Kentucky on June 5, 1931 to the now deceased Cary Smith and Ida Bell (Watson) Ramey.

She married Ralph L. Matney on April 14, 1952. He preceded her in death.

Margie retired from Crescent Manufacturing in Fremont. She had been a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ.

Her son, Carter Matney, preceded her in death on February 29, 2020.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Jonathan L. Matney; Jason C. Matney; Cassandra L. Matney and Jessica Leigh Matney, along with three brothers, Billie R. Ramey; Cary D. Ramey; Eddie H. Ramey and two sisters, Anasteine Hamilton and Patty Sue Hill.

She was preceded in death by four siblings; James B. Ramey; Bobbie G. Ramey; Danny J. Ramey and Virginia Ermalee Salmons.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 10:00 am until the service at noon at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Clyde.
