Marie Smith Obituary

Marie L. Smith, 93, of Bellevue, died at The Willows on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  

Marie was born in Cleveland on February 3, 1925 to Paul and Martha (Shara) Kruger.  

Mrs. Smith worked as a laborer at Faulhaver in Monroeville.  She enjoyed yard work, crocheting, and watching crime mysteries on t.v.  She also had a cockatiel bird named Sonny that she loved.  

In August of 1949 she married Edward H. Smith, and he preceded her in death in August of 1993.  

Survivors include her daughter Darlene Ramon of Sandusky, and two sons; Dennis (Joy) Smith, and Patrick (Nancy) Smith, both of Bellevue.  Grandchildren; Seth Ramon, Joshua Ramon, Emily (Dustin) Steinbring, Robert (Lindsey) Smith, and Ryan Smith survive, along with siblings, Paul Kruger of Pennsylvania, and Dorothy Hill of California.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her son, Terry Smith, and several siblings.  

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church of Bellevue from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue.  

Memorials may be made to a humane society of the donor's choice or to the American Cancer Society.
