Marna Jean Schneider

Marna Schneider, 90, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio and most recently residing in Florida, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Tidewell Hospice Ellenton.

She was born April 16, 1928 in Bellevue, and was the daughter of Walter Glenn and Dorothea (Heter) Heltman. She married Arthur Schneider November 11, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2003. Marna was a 1946 graduate of Bellevue Senior High School and a 1950 graduate of North Central College. She was secretary at West Side Motors, Bellevue and a teacher at Bellevue Junior High School. She was a member of Seybert United Methodist Church and attended West Coast Church, Parrish, FL. She is remembered for her love of family and wonderful sense of humor.

Marna is survived by her daughter: Dee Ann (Jim) Martin, Bartlett TN; son: Dean (Shawn) Schneider, Palmetto FL; grandchildren: Chad Martin, Jessica, Kevin and Flori Schneider; great-grandchildren: Jeremy and Leilani Ramirez-Schneider; brother-in-law: Thomas (Sandi) Willett; nephew: John (Karen) Heltman; and nieces: Elizabeth (Aaron) Mitra and Betsy Willett. In addition to her parents and husband, she is proceeded in death by her brother, Burl Heltman.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31 at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue, Ohio.  Visiting time with family will take place from 12:30 p.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to: Tidewell Hospice Ellenton, 4151 37th.
