Mary Lillian (Aldrich) Baker Willer

Mary Lillian Baker Willer, 103, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Fremont.

Mrs. Willer was born in Fremont on July 14, 1917 to Eddie E. and Clemma (Saeger) Aldrich.

Mary was a member of the 1935 graduating class of Clyde High School. She had always been on a farm, but worked at the former Clyde Cutlery and the White Front Market.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Fremont. Formerly, she had been a member of the Busy Bee and Bid A Wee Farm Women, as well as the Farm Council.

On May 2, 1935, she married Robert J. Baker. He preceded her in death on may 11, 1960. She then married George E. Willer on October 12, 1967, he died on October 8, 2005.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Longanbach of Fremont and a son, Larry "Butch" (Kris) Baker of Sarasota, Florida along with a step daughter, Barb Gillogly Lindstrom . Her step daughter-in-law, Marilyn Willer is in Fremont. Ten grandchildren, Timothy; Laura; Michelle Terri; Kim; Chris; Mike; Shawn, Erin and Brock survive. Step grandchildren are Lori; Sue; John; Wendell; Betsy; Brian; Steve and Joe  and Jacob and Vaughn are also surviving. There are nineteen great grandchildren, numerous step great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren and several step great great grandchildren that survive.

Mrs. Willer was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Baker, her son-in-law, Larry Longanbach; step children, Madge Giedeman and George Willer, Jr. Her step mother, Helen (Weiler) Stout Aldrich has also preceded her in death.  Also two step grandchildren are deceased Bob and Dave.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. Burial will be in Bakertown Cemetery.

Memorials may be made, if desired, to Sandusky County Cancer Society.
