Mary Kathryn "Kathy" (Crum) Long

Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Long, 68, of Clyde, died at Promedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Kathy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 30,1953 to Mary (Rogers) and I.J. Crum. 

She retired from Whirlpool in 2019 after many years of employment.

Kathy was a caregiver to many and a friend to everyone. She was known to be motivator to all persons that got to know her.

Survivors include her children, Ken J. (Amy) Long of Fremont; Joseph L. (Dale Wetzel) Long of Clyde and Jamie (Brenton) Corbin of Clyde. Also three "bonus" daughters, whom she helped raise, Heather Howell of Muskingum, Michigan: Mary Kathryn Mensch and Colleen Winke. Twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Her sister, Vicki Mensch of Vickery survives as well.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Earl Crum, husband, Don Long and the father of her children, Floyd Long.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:30 am at Parkhurst Cemetery, Clyde. A time for remembrances will be immediately following the graveside at Townsend Twp. Fire Hall.
