Nancy M. (Lanning) Durdel, 72, of Clyde, died Thursday, July 29, 2021.
She was born January 9, 1949 in Bowling Green, Ohio to William & Jean (Boice) Lanning Sr. She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1967. Nancy enjoyed family trips to Disney World, and spending time with children. She had babysat many children in her home over the years. She always enjoyed bowling.
On June 21, 1969 she married Larry L. Durdel, and he survives in Clyde. Also surviving are their children: Amy (Jeff) Gill of Clyde; Lisa (Kelly) Slagle of Virginia Beach; and Brad (Linda) Durdel of Perrysburg; grandchildren: Marissa, Jacob, and Gavin Gill; Megan and Samantha Slagle; and Ava Durdel; her mother, Jean Lanning of Bowling Green; and siblings: Darlene Hecht; William "Butch" (Donna) Lanning Jr; and LuAnn Lanning, all of Bowling Green.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Sunday, August 1, 2021 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 218 S. Main St, Clyde. Her funeral service will be 11:00am Monday, August 2 at the First United Methodist Church, 510 W. Maple St, Clyde with Rev. Sheryl Seitz officiating.
