Phyllis J. (Cox) Fronsoe

Phyllis J. Fronsoe, 80 of Castalia, died at her home on Friday, November 12, 2021.

Phyllis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 14, 1941 to Lillian (Magness) and Frank Cox. Her parents are deceased.

Mrs. Fronsoe graduated from Taylor High School in 1959. 

While in Cincinnati, she worked as an operator for the Cincinnati Telephone Company. After moving to the area, she worked for Bogart School as an aide, then retired from the former Myers Propane Co. in Sandusky after 30 years of employment.

On April 8, 1961, she married Hale M. Fronsoe.  He survives, along with their two daughters, Kelly (August) Keegan of Bellevue and Stephanie (Tom) Johnson of Sandusky. Also surviving are five grandsons, Jacob Reau; Zachary Reau; Kade Chumley; Tyler (Melissa Likes) Johnson and Corey (Jessie Schreiber) Johnson. Five bonus grandchildren, Janisha (Todd) Buck; Jessica (DJ) Eidson; Bridget (Mark) Strecker; Seth (Harleigh) Keegan and Devon (Savourie) Keegan also survive. Seventeen great grandchildren survive as well.  Her sister, Carol Parnell of Cincinnati survives also. 

Mrs. Fronsoe was preceded in death by three brothers Edwin Cox; Calvin Cox and David Cox.

Phyllis loved her family, being their best cheerleader and encourager. She had like to travel and collect music boxes and tea cups prior to her failing health.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:30 am. with additional visitation from 9:30 until the service. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Victory Kitchen or Providence Baptist Church, Bellevue or Venice Road Baptist Church, Sandusky.
