Richard D. Kuns

Richard D. Kuns, 81, of Clyde, died at the University of Toledo Medical Center on Sunday, April 17,2022, following six weeks of declining health.

Dick was born in Sandusky, Ohio on June 14,1940 to Ordean (Burkin) and Dale Kuns.

He was a 1958 graduate of Clyde High School.

After high school, he began his training, and eventually his craftsmanship of upholstery. He was the owner of Kuns Upholstery for at least forty years. 

Mr. Kuns was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Formerly, he was a member of the Clyde MOOSE.

On June 14,1974, he married Dolores Ann Snyder. She survives. Also surviving are six siblings, Beverly Crockett of Clyde; Roger (Patricia) Kuns of Sandusky; Joyce Reigger of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Gary (Mary) Kuns of Maumee; Kathryn (Robert) Ochs of Sarasota, Florida and Stephen (Linda) Kuns of Bowling Green, Ohio. His sister-in-law, Margaret Kuns, also survives.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Tom Kuns, along with brothers-in-law, Bob Crockett, and Otto Reigger.. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 21,2022 from 5:00 - 7:00pm, with rosary recited at 7:00pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St, Clyde, Ohio. The funeral mass will be on Friday, April 22,2022 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
