Robert L. Frederick, 90, of Norwalk, formerly of Bellevue, more recently a resident of The Ohio Veteran's Home, Sandusky, died at OVH on December 13, 2020,
Bob was born in York Township to Reuben and Gladys (Rife) Frederick . He was a 1948 graduate of the former York High School.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Bellevue.
For many years he was a farmer and worked for the former Bellevue Implement, now Gibbs Equipment and the American Baler as a mechanic.
Mr. Frederick had served in the United States Army in the Korean War.
On May 4, 1957, he married Rose Mary Kramer. She, along with their children, Jeanette Moore of Kingman, Arizona and Douglas L. (Cheryl) Frederick of Willard, survive.
Also surviving are siblings, Lillian (Ernest) Yetter of Vickery; Lucy Garman of Sandusky; Virginia Stinson of Norwalk and James (Gail) Frederick of Bellevue.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George Frederick; Karen Whitlatch; Barbara Elchert; Eleanor Osmon and Charles Frederick, who was killed in Viet Nam in 1966.
Graveside services will be in held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:00 am at York Free Chapel Cemetery, Bellevue, with the Rev. Dr. Diane Carter officiating. A live stream will begin at 10:00 am for viewing the service.
Memorials may be made to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Dinner/Funeral Fund or to Huron County Humane Society.
