Robert A. Lindsay, 64, of rural Green Springs, died at his home after a brief illness, on Monday, June 8, 2020.
Bob was born in Fremont on October 10, 1955 to Nelson R. and Barbara (Miller) Lindsay.
He graduated from the Bellevue High School in 1974, where he had been involved in the FFA program.
Mr. Lindsay was always a farmer, he enjoyed it and was very proud of that fact. He was a member of the Clyde Eagles, liked to attend farm sales and was avid dartball player.
Bob was preceded in death on October 25, 2006 by his wife, Jean Nearhood Lindsay. His parents are also deceased.
Survivors include his fiancé Sharon Organ; his sister, Mary Ann Stout of Green Springs; his nephew, Nathan (Miranda) Stout; niece Michelle (Greg) Yates of Bradenton Florida; Sharon's children; Jason Organ of East Liberty; David Organ of Bellefontaine; and Cathy Organ of Clyde. Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and his best friend, Terry (Karen) Bartley of Bellefontaine also survive.
Bob's graveside service will be on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Butternut Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Paul Bogenrife officiating.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped the Lindsay family during Bob's illness.
