Obituary
Robert L. Setzler, 96, of Clyde, died at his home, with his family present, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Mr. Setzler was born in Fremont on November 10, 1925 to the now deceased Dorothy (Colvin) and Roy Setzler.
He was a member of the 1943 graduating Class of Clyde High School. He entered the United States Navy on November 11, 1943, and was honorably discharged on May 19, 1946.
Mr. Setzler retired from the Whirlpool Corp in 1988.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Clyde Heritage League. Bob enjoyed gardening, metal detecting, but loved having his family together.
On January 28, 1961, he married Roberta Mowery. She, along with their twin sons, David (fiancé Laura MIller)of Olmstead Falls and Donald (Lisa) Setzler of Maryland survive. Seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessica; Kathryn, Jennifer, Michael, Jonathan and Veronica, and two great grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Setzler was preceded in death by and infant sister, Wanda Setzler.
Family services will be held.
