Robert E. Stahl, 87, of Green Springs, died at his home on Tuesday, January 18,2022.
Mr. Stahl was born in Risingsun, Ohio on February 11,1934 to the now deceased Bertha (Michaels) and Harry Stahl. He attended Risingsun School, then graduated from Jackson Liberty in 1954.
He was a member of Grace Community Church. He had been a member of the Top Hats and Guiding Light Sextet.
For 31 years he worked as an operator, set up man at Ford Motor in Sandusky.
Mr. Stahl was a veteran of the United States Army.
On June 3, 1956, he married Shirley C. Prowant. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2011.
Survivors include a son, Robert E. (Lu) Stahl, Jr of Clyde and daughter, Lydia (Julie) Jones of Toledo, daughter in law, Ramonda Stahl (Chris Riffle) of Green Springs. Three grandchildren, Ashley (James) Straub; Chelsea (Tanner Freeman) Weiker and Chris Stahl, along with a great granddaughter, Autumn Straub and granddog Bella.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ron Stahl and a great grandchild, Morgan Stahl, as well as his siblings, Howard Stahl; Earl Stahl; Paul Stahl; Esta Helle; George Stahl; Alvin Stahl; Anna Preston and Betty Woessner.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 am and continue until the Noon service on Saturday, January 22,2022 at Grace Community Church, Fremont. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery with military rites provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
Memorials may be made to the Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky.
