Rochelle J. (Townsend) Russell

Rochelle J. Russell, 63, of Bellevue, died at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, on Saturday, February 26,2022.

Rochelle was born in Bellevue on May 14,1958 to Dorothy (Barnett) and Thurman Townsend. She was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Bellevue High School.

Mrs. Russell was a member of Faith Bible Church in Bellevue. She loved flowers so much so, that after working for Downtown Florists, she purchased the business and was the owner/operator for many years.

On August 9,1986, she married Keith A. Russell. He along with children, Kristy (Brad) Ungerer, Holly Martin, Nicholas (Beth) Martin, all of Bellevue Joshua (Karen) Russell of Castalia and Sara (Brandon) Hade of Bellevue, survive. Thirteen grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Jessalynn, Colton; Kayla, Jadin, Amaya; Benjamin, Zachary, Rebecca, Jacob, Noah, and Ella also survive. Her mother, Dorothy Townsend survives in Bellevue, along with her brother, Don Townsend and sister, Donna Clark. 

Rochelle's family, especially her grandchildren, were her focus and reason for life. She adored each and every one!

Preceding her in death are her father and brother, Chris Townsend.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 1,2022 from 3:00 pm - 7:00pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Faith Bible Church at 10:30 am with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.

Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.
