Roger O. Zieber, 78, of Bellevue, died at The Willows on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Roger was born in Bellevue on September 18, 1943 to the now deceased Elsie (Hoover) and Olen Zieber.
He was a member of the 1961 York High School graduating class. He retired in 2006 from the former Kelsey Hayes Company.
Mr. Zieber was a member of The Chapel in Sandusky. He liked to paint, read and "tinker". Yard work, especially, mowing was a passion for him. He had been a former board member of Pass It On Clothing Closet. He also had taught finance classes at The Chapel, where he had been a greeter.
On May 16, 1964, he married Mary Lou Eversole. She, along with their six children; Karen (Michael) Medford of Decatur, Georgia; Steven (Lori) Zieber of Norwalk; Cindi (Tim) Konstanty of West Chester, Ohio; Brian (Lena) Zieber of Toledo; Barbara Tackett of Fremont and Michael (Carrie) Zieber of Rock Hill, South Carolina survive. Seventeen grandchildren; Joel, Lydia, Lisa, Regan, Elise, Ross, Katie, Andrea, Julia, Simon, Hannah, Andrew, Grace, Beth, Lilly, Helen, and Becca also survive. His brother, Richard (Jan) Zieber survive in Bellevue.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:00 am with Pastor Dave Brown officiating. Burial will be in Fireside Cemetery.
