Rollyn H. Dinan

Rollyn H. Dinan, 95, of rural Clyde, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

Rolly was born on September 22, 1927 to the now deceased Alice (Aldrich) and Pat Leo Dinan.

He attended a rural Green Springs school and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clyde.

Mr. Dinan loved to be busy! He enjoyed the outdoors and was a farmer all of his life, while working at various places, such as the former  Clyde Cutlery and the Herbrand in Fremont, the sugar beet plant and finally Armstong.

On February 19, 1948, he married Peggy Corrine Stegman. She survives, as do three of their children, Gloria Quaintance of Clyde, Michael (Wendy Corfman) Dinan of Fremont and Thomas (Deborah) Dinan of Clyde. Ten grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren also survive. One sister, Jean Kastor of Clyde survives as well.

Rolly was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dinan, a son-in-law, Fred Quaintance, two grandchildren along with his siblings, Mary Myers, Lillian  Yocum, Doris Dinan, William Dinan, Ivan Dinan, Tim Dinan, Bob Dinan Larry Dinan and Donald Dinan.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10:00 am until the funeral at noon at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. Pastor Rose Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Bakertown Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to Hospice.
