Ronald L. Campbell, 75, of Clyde, died at the Bellevue ER on Monday, January 17,2022.
Ron was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on August 24,1946 to Novella (Northcutt) and Dexter Lee Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a jack of all trades. He was able to weld, fabricate, farm, garden and own and be the mechanic on race cars. In keeping up with his "work acholic" lifestyle, he worked at Ford Motor for 35 years, while also owning Campbell and Sons Construction for 20 years!
On October 7,2006 he married Judy Mackey Shafer. She survives as do his four children, Kimberly (Larry) Dickman of Fremont; Ronald Lee Campbell II of Seabrook, New Hampshire; Shannon Campbell and William D. "Duke" Campbell both of Clyde. Also surviving are Judy's sons, Michael (Amy) Shafer of Bay Village and Thomas (Cynthia) of Dublin, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His brother, John Campbell, his sister, Linda Click, both of Clyde, his sister, Tina Deck of Fremont and his sister, Karen White of Florida all survive him.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Vernon Roger Campbell and a sister, Margie Campbell.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 21,2022 from 10:00am until the service at Noon at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. Burial will be in Bakertown Cemetery.
