Roy D. Mingus

Roy D. Mingus, 83, of Bellevue, died at the Bellevue Care Center, following a two month stay, on Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Roy was born in New Boston, Ohio on August 26,1940 to the now deceased Esther (Kegley) and Amos Mingus.

Mr. Mingus relished the outdoors! Fishing, hunting and visiting Myrtle Beach each year were some of his favorite pastimes.

He had retired for the former Armstrong Air as a welder.

On September 13, 1959, he married Barbara Dials. She, along with their three daughters, Sherry (John) Jarrett of Bellevue; Shelly (Michael) Schenk of Sandusky and Sheila (Keith) Reichelderfer of Denver survive. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive as well.

His brother, Richard Mingus preceded him in death.

There will be no services at this time.
