Sarah L. Burmeister, 83, formerly of Marblehead, Ohio, more recently of Bellevue, died at her home on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Mrs. Burmeister was born in Marblehead on June 21, 1938 to the now deceased Edith Geraldine (Walter) and George Albert Domrose.
She was a 1956 graduate of Danbury High School. Also, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Danbury.
When her daughters were young, she was a Girl Scout leader. She also enjoyed most crafts, was an excellent cook and liked to watch car races, OSU. Everyone knew not to interrupt her when the Cavs were playing!
On September 3, 1960, she married Theodore Herman Burmeister. He preceded her in death in May 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Pepa of Marblehead and Fay Wade of Bellevue. Three granddaughters, Kelsey Pepa; Leah (Joe) Wade and Danelle Wade, along with close family friend Jimmy Allen of Bellevue and former son-in-law, Darrell Pepa of Lakeside also survive. Sarah's two sisters, Shirley Michel of Alabama and Nancy Bullock of Texas survive as well.
Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery in Danbury.
