Sharon F. Meyer, 74, of Clyde, died at her home on Saturday, February 20, 2021, due to complications related to COVID 19.
Sharon was born in Fremont on July 6, 1946 to the now deceased William and Ella Rose (Ball) Dirlam.
She was a member of the 1964 graduating class of Clyde High School. After graduation, she attended Columbus Business School.
After 25 years of dedicated service to the former, Clyde Savings Bank, Sharon retired. She then worked at Reed Chiropractic in Clyde.
Sharon was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde and the Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include a son, Gregory (Cindy) Meyer of Lebanon, Ohio; Pamela (Lanny) Landis of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandsons, Owen Meyer and Dirk Meyer, along with two step granddaughters, Meghan Landis and Emilee Landis. Three sisters, Charlotte (Pete) Gillmor; Beverly (Jim) Schrickel all of Clyde and Kelly (Jim) Unger of Milan, as well as her sister-in-law, Linda Dirlam of Clyde survive. Her special friends, Paul and Mary Reed, survive as well, as do their children, that Sharon considered adopted grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Dirlam.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until mass at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. The Rev. Ed Schleter will officiate with burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
The family suggest that memorials may be made, if desired, to the Clyde Food Pantry or St. Mary Catholic Church or Sandusky County Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
