Susan J. (Beck) Roth

Susan J. Roth, 71, of Clyde, died at the Toledo Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2023

Susan was born in Canton, Ohio on February 21, 1952 to Mary (Rheam) and Ralph Beck.

She was a 1970 graduate of Orrville High School. She then attended Akron University, transferred and graduated from Bowling Green State University.

For 27 years, she was the Department Head for Secretarial Science at Terra College in Fremont, retiring in 2004.

Mrs. Roth was a member of The First United Methodist Church, Clyde.

She liked her garden, loved the beach, and anything BLING! Susan was an incessant shopper, knowing ALL the great stores with a hundred miles. Her favorite thing was her “chicks” (her daughters and grandchildren)!

On September 5, 1978, she married William C. Roth. He, along with their two daughters, Jennifer Plummer (Kevin McAfee) of Fremont and Alison (Jason) Pridemore survive. Three grandchildren, Javier Plummer, Wyatt McAfee and Eliza Pridemore are survivors as well.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Nancy Beck.

A memorial will be held on Sunday, July 30,2023 at 1:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in Susan’s name.
