Sylvia A. (Behrendsen) Shaull

Sylvia A. Shaull, 75, of Clyde, died at Promedica Hospital in Toledo, on Friday, April 9, 2021.

Sylvia was born on September 23, 1945 to the now deceased Dale and Ellen Mae (Craig) Behrendsen. 

She was a member of the 1963 graduating class of Clyde High School. Also, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde.

For 25 years, Mrs. Shaull was a dispatcher for the Clyde Police Department prior to her retirement.

Sylvia liked the outdoors and all it had to offer, especially being around the water. Her greatest joy was her family, and her much adored five grandchildren, Brailan, Bob, Brinneth, Vaughn  and Zayla..

Survivors include the five grandchildren, along with her cherished daughters, Brooke (Bob) Michael of Clyde and Paige (Allen) Brown of Erie, Michigan. Her sister, Sharon Turnbull (Dan) of Hilliard, Ohio also survives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Shaull on December 27, 2015. They had been married on April 2,1966. Her brother, Dean Behrendsen is deceased as well.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4-7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Kurt Luebekeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Masks and social distancing will be observed at all times.

Memorials may be made, if desired, to the St. Paul Lutheran  Church or the Clyde Food Pantry.
