Thomas E. Thoss

Thomas E. Thoss, 75, of Clyde, died at the Bellevue ER on Wednesday, January 19,2022.

Tom was born in Fremont on June 9,1946 to Phyllis (Cox) and Lloyd Thoss. His parents are deceased.

He was a member of the 1966 graduating class of Clyde High School.

Tom remained a loyal and compassionate supporter of ALL Flier activities, especially sports, with football and softball being his passions! 

Mr. Thoss also liked to do puzzles and be with his family.

One January 25,1969, he married Juanita "Needie" Felter. She survives, along with their three children; Shawn (Elizabeth) Thoss; Brian (Leslie) Thoss, all of Clyde and Jennifer Thoss of Tiffin. Grandchildren, Briana, Bryce, Megan and Cory, as well as great grandchildren, Braxton, Zayden, Brodie and Paisley survive as well. His brother, Richard Cox of Clyde and sisters, Linda Roarke of Knoxville, Tennessee and Janet (Rick) Cook of Norwalk also survive. Tom was raised with his aunts and uncles. Two of them survive him, Joyce Davis of Sandusky and Larry (Bonnie) Dick of Clyde.

Tom was preceded in death by a sibling, Bob Cox and his aunts and uncles, Marjorie Lippert; Richard Dick; Ronnie Dick; Lois Bonnell and David Dick. 

A celebration of life will be on Saturday, January 29,2022 at 3:00pm at the Clyde VFW.

Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite Clyde charity or organization. Tom was a "Clydeite" through and through.
