Thomas James Willey, 67, of Clyde, died at Stein Hospice on Saturday, September 7, 2019, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Thomas was born on October 10, 1951 in Fremont to Kenneth and Norma Jean (Neason) Willey.
He graduated from Fremont Ross in 1969. He joined the Ohio National Guard in 1970 and was an active member until 1976.
Prior to Quikut closing in Fremont, Thomas worked there. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont.
On September 16, 1978, he married Cheryl Ann Myers. She survives, along with his mother Norma in Fremont and their daughter, Tiffany (Jonas) Middleton, Chicago, Illinois and their son, Matthew Willey of Clyde. Two grandchildren, Abigail Middleton and Theodore Middleton also survive. His sister, Martha Wise lives in Fremont.
Mr. Willey was preceded in death by his father and brother, Michael Willey.
Private family services will be held.
