Obituary
Tonia L. Swanson, 50, unexpectedly died at her home on Wednesday, August 31,2022.
Tonia was born in Sandusky, Ohio on August 13, 1972. She graduated from Vanguard in 1991. Prior to her illness, she had worked at Rural King and then ABC Inoac.
Crafts were her hobby, painting and ceramics were her specialties. She liked to color her adult color books, along with baking cookies with the younger generation. Tonia liked to fish with her father, along with anything pink flamingo!
Survivors include her son, Devon Swanson of Fremont, parents, Sheryl (Austin) and Raymond G. Swanson, Jr; as well as her siblings, Denise (William) Whitt of Fremont; Gary (Jodi) Beamer of Clyde; Jeanne Zucker and Rhonda Swanson both of Fremont. Twelve nieces and nephews, along with nine great nieces and nephews. Also her Aunt and Uncle Bill and Becky Austin of Rockvalle, Tennessee survive.
Preceding her death was her grandparents, Dora Jean Austin, William Austin; Raymond G. Swanson, Sr. and Quilla T. Swanson, along with an aunt Judith J. Paschen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at Fremont Alliance Church on Brush Street in Fremont with Pastor Glenn Merril officiating.
Memorials may be made, if desired, to American Diabetes or Fremont Alliance.
