Vivian "Sally" A. (Springer) Martin

Vivian “Sally” Martin, 87, of Bellevue, died at The Bellevue Hospital, following a lengthy illness with cancer on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Mrs. Martin was born in Conneaut, Ohio on January 25, 1936 to the now deceased Lucielle (Likely) and Claude D. Springer.

She was a member of the 1953 graduating class of Bellevue High School.

Sally was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bellevue Congregation. She enjoyed sharing the message of God with everyone she could. While she was an excellent pie maker, loved to work in her garden and yard, and care for her two cats, her greatest joy was her one and only granddaughter, Kelsey!

On February 1, 1954, she married Robert C. Martin in Greenup, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1993.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Martin and Denise Raifsnider, both of Bellevue and the beloved Kelsey Razo (Matias) of North Carolina. Three siblings, Carole Basil of Bellevue, Michael (Sharon) Springer of Florida and Stephen Springer, Columbus, Ohio also survive.

Sally was preceded in death by five sisters, Marguerite Jacobs, Shirley Maldonado, Bonita Schatzinger, Claudette Dean and Phyllis Springer, along with two brothers, Claude C. Springer and Johnny Springer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28,2023 from 1:00pm until the memorial service at 3:00pm at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio.
