Wayne A. Amos, 81, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1940 in Bellevue to Arden & Muriel (Williams) Amos. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1958. Wayne worked as a brakeman on the railroad and also owned Amos Service Garage in Bellevue. He was a 32* Mason, a member of the Bellevue Masonic Lodge, Bellevue VFW, and Bellevue Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Charmaine (Lee) Amos of Bellevue; children: Mike Amos of Fremont; Tracy Amos of South Carolina; Erin (Kevin) Kwiatkowski of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Ashley "Buddy" Amos of Bellevue; grandchildren: Andre Black of South Carolina; Gabriel Amos of Bellevue; Tyler & Eva Kwiatkowski of Ann Arbor; his sisters: Karen Worrell and Sheryl (Charlie) Tibboles, all of Bellevue; his sister-in-law, Geri Amos of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Arden Amos, Jr.
Private family services will be held September 25, 2021. Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Bellevue VFW.
