Nancy Ann Dietzel-Gardner, 86, of Bellevue, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Willows of Bellevue.

Nancy was born in Clyde on January 21, 1931 to Foster E.. and Zelma Bell (Tucker) Wilbert. She was a 1949 graduate of York High School.

Mrs. Gardner had been a secretary the former Pearce Insurance in Clyde.

She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, reading, puzzles, games and cards.  Cooking was another hobby.

Mrs. Dietzel Gardner was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard A.. Dietzel whom she married November 29, 1950, he died on September 14, 1981. On August 7, 1998, she married Arthur D. Gardner. He died on February 21, 2013.

Surviving are her children, Bruce Dietzel of Fort Worth, Texas; Mark (Christine) Dietzel of Bellevue; Scott (Dianne) Dietzel of East Harrison Twp., Michigan; Cheryl (Dennis) Dendinger of Bellevue; Timothy (Karen) Dietzel of Bellevue and Barbara (Charles) Caddy of Harper, Kansas. Nineteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild and three great- grandchildren, along with two brothers, Thomas Wilbert and Robert Wilbert and two sister, Doris Zilles and Ruth Fillmore.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4-7:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11:00 am, with visitation one half hour prior to the service, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Engle officiating. A private burial will take place.
