Arthur was a close friend and cousin. When I farmed together with my Dad from 1973 until 1987 at Gray Haven Farm, we often shared our farming burdens with Arthur. We planted and harvested corn for him and Marge during this time period on a number of occasions. Art was a grain and animal products marketing specialist. He was always current with prices and pricing trends since he worked for a marketing broker associated with the Chicago Board of Trade. I don't remember any more details than that but we often relied on his sense of where the market was trending. We will miss his friendly smile and continuously accommodating personality. Our farming world was a better place when Arthur was with us.

We wish to extend our most sincere condolences to each member of his extended family who yet remain on this Earth. Since I (Robert) had the privilege of living just six miles down the road from you and going to school together at Thompson and going to church together at Fireside, and going to Ohio State together with Howard, etc. and a whole lot of togetherness during family reunions, It seems like we were always a part of the same family. And Susan has been a part of our farming family and our reunions since 1982!. It's been good!

May you find comfort in God and His promises to wipe your tears from your eyes and end sickness and death forever. My hope and prayer is that you have solace in the hope of one day reuniting with your dear Arthur in happiness and perfect health John5:28,29. Love and peace.

We are sorry to hear of the death of a brother and brother-in-law. Our prayers are with you. Also we heard Charles lost a cousin the day before. Years ago Susan lost a grandfather and aunt on the same day, so we know how hard that is. Love and prayers to you and all of your family.
