This comes at a late date as I am just now learning of Alan’s long illness and passing. We were big buddies in seminary. I shared his grief at his mother’s death. I’ll never forget his sad little face on that sad Mother’s Day morning. We got him ready to go home Such an honest and trustworthy man. I missed all of his life after seminary. He continues to hold a dear place in my life those many years ago.
